Mouth blown and handmade Bohemian Glassware. Made in Bohemia. The Alban collection was designed before Akua Objects was founded. The collection was sketched in 2019, while Annika’s first-born son, Alban, was still growing in her belly.The symbol of growing life and the remembrance of the poppy, gave life to Akua Objects first collected drawings, which today represent a collection named after Alban.

The Alban glasses convey a contemporary take on the poppy that has always been close to Annika’s heart.The glasses sometimes carry small bubbles of air, eternally capturing the breath of the glass blower.
