The Oblist Thonet Bentwood Chairs by Josef Hoffman | Vintage Furniture | Armchair

A playful pair of lacquered bentwood armchairs designed by the Austrian architect Josef Hoffman and manufactured by Thonet in 1905.  Horseshoe construction with wonderful oval details creating a lightness to the chair.  A stand alone piece that has been fully renovated in a high gloss buttery cream lacquer and re-upholstered with a textural linen with a lustrous aspect by Dedar Milano.

Beech wood, Condition is very good. Some small dents and marks in lacquer especially on arms. Upholstery: 70% Viscose, 30% Linen. Price is for one.  Pair available.
