Side Table in Acrylic by Dorian Renard. Part of his, “Beauty of Distortion” collection, which explores the idea to confront the plastic to a new notion of beauty, one that is alluringly twist and bent instead of being industrially morose.

The project grew out of Renard’s interest in glass–a material in constant flux as it is given form. Renard was interested in how the unique properties of acrylic allowed him to develop forms unachievable in glass.
