This French chrome over brass sculptural table lamp is truly exceptional, crafted by the renowned furniture and light designer Philippe Barbier. Working in Paris during the 1960s and 1970s, Barbier was highly regarded for his unique lighting designs for French film sets, operating under the name ‘Maison Barbier’. His signature pieces featured polished chrome over brass in a variety of sculptural shapes. Choose from either pale blue linen, rust sateen, or off-white hemp handmade lampshades from Astrid Textiles in Italy. The chrome finish may show some subtle signs of aging, but nothing that detracts from its overall beauty.
